Parent Chat

Every other month, we host a parenting chat when we invite an early childhood expert to give a talk about a relevant topic on child-rearing and the parents can have a “chat” about it afterward.

This forms community as well as help the parents with ideas and tools regarding the topic that is chosen for that month. Some examples are: Behavioral issues, Nutrition, Developmental Milestones, etc.

Food Drive

Once a year we ask for Parents and people in our community to donate any Food they can.

Coat/Toys Drive

Once a year around winter time we ask Parents and people in our community to donate any coats or toys they no longer are using. All donations go to the Old First Church on Carroll street. You can sign-up for our email lists to keep up with upcoming events.

CPR and First Aid

Twice a year we hold Adult/Infant CPR and First Aid classes in our Church Avenue location – this is for parents, babysitters and other childcare providers. Please email us if you are interested and would like to know when our upcoming training is or keep up with our Blog!

Chruch Ave Street Fair

Every year at Honeydew Playhouse (1113 Church Ave) we attend the church ave festival. We offer free face painting, and information about our Summer Camp Program.
